About Me

Hi, I'm Ryan! Located in Los Angeles, CA. I am dedicated to helping people create lives of connection, authenticity, and resilience. My work is rooted in the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing when provided with the right support, tools, and understanding.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds, with a special focus on couples therapy, Queer/LGBTQ+ communities, youth and families, and individuals navigating severe mental illness and addiction.

 

My approach is integrative and affirming, drawing from evidence-based practices while tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs, history, and goals.​ Whether I’m helping a couple rebuild trust, guiding a teen through anxiety and identity exploration, or supporting someone in recovery from addiction, I aim to create a collaborative space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to take the next steps toward change.

 

In addition to therapy, I am passionate about advocacy, cultural humility, and fostering safe, inclusive environments for marginalized communities. I understand that therapy is not one-size-fits-all - and I work to ensure each person’s story, values, and lived experience are honored in the process.

As a therapist, I believe that self-worth is at the heart of healing. Many of the struggles clients bring into therapy are rooted in a shaky sense of value. In my work, I help clients recognize how shame, criticism, or unmet needs have shaped their inner story, and together we build new ways of relating to themselves with compassion and confidence.

 

This book reflects that same approach: integrating science, reflection, and practical exercises to help you move from fragile self-esteem to a grounded sense of worth that doesn’t need to be earned. It explores how our sense of value shapes nearly every part of life - our relationships, our ability to cope with setbacks, and even the way we speak to ourselves.
